The Phibsboro club was formed in 1905 and are commonly recognised as the most interesting club in Ireland mainly due to their historic stadium, the art and framework of the stadium doors are often admired by visitors and it would be highly advised to anyone visiting Phibsborough to explore Dalymount park and even go watch Bohemians play to get a taste of the atmosphere created inside the iconic stadium.
Glasnevin Cemetery

● If you happen to be visiting Phibsborough Village, Glasnevin cemetery in the place to go to gain incredible insights and hear historical stories on the tour of the cemetery. More than 1.5 million Irish citizens have been buried in the cemetery itself including some iconic Irish men who dedicated a lot to their country such as Michael Collins, Brendan Behan, Éamon De Valera and Daniel O’Connell. They also have a museum where you can discover if any of your ancestors were buried in the cemetery by using a genealogy.
National Botanical Gardens

● The National Botanic Gardens is just outside of Phibsborough although is just a few minutes walk from the village itself. They have beautiful plants from across the world displayed in some spectacular greenhouses. The Botanic garden is an ideal place to go to relax, walk and admire the natural surroundings. They also have tours in place to gain greater insight into the gardens. They are situated in Glasnevin and are highly recommended if around the Phibsborough area

● Mcgowans if often known as the face of Phibsborough, it is the only nightclub in the small village and it adored and loved by everybody in it. Blessington Street Basin

● This hidden little hideaway may not even be known to many locals. The pond was a former water supply for the village including the well-known powers whiskey company. Nowadays it is a park that you can go for walks with your dog or have a picnic and it is a beautiful place to visit for sure if around the Phibsborough area.
